Title - G - tar lamp
By - Jesse Udvett-Dorian + Ryan Udvett

This is my object for me. I started this project with an old lamp and my oldest guitar that i don't play anymore. Me and my cuzin (Ryan) put this together on a Saturday. The coolest feature's of this piece is that the on/off switch is the actual switch on the guitar.(as you can see in the first picture. My second most attribute is that the cord to plug it in actually comes out where one would plug in a working guitar. (as you can see in picture 2) The third greatest feature is that it still can stand on my guitar stand on its own.
Why I find a suitable light shade and a spot in my room for the guitar it will enhance the piece overall.

This painting is a painting of the Metallica album master of puppets. I choose this painting because this is one of the first paintings I have ever painted. Before i get into details i'd like to give you the backround of what this painting means to me. Metallica is the first band that really got me into music. Deeper within metallica is the song Master of puppets by them is the biggest reason of my passion for guitar. With my love for guitar, metallica and art i have drawn the letters on the logo before. I really like how i have added the yellow to red shading to really make the letter pop out much more then they did before. The red hands behind the letters was really tuff for me. I basically used red twards the center of the hands and added black little by little to the red as i worked outside. I used a q-tip to help spread, and fade the paint. What i do like about the painting is the grass and cross tomstones. The grass is like dead, dried out, and cracked. The best way i found to get this effect is that i used a really thick neelde almost. With that i got thin lines that looked like grass blads and the needle gave the scratchy, dead grass look well. Overall i like how it turned out.
